What this site stores
Your account details, travel preferences, saved travelers, trip requests, quotes, itinerary, membership status, and payment references are stored to coordinate your travel. Passwords are stored as secure hashes. We do not store PayPal passwords, raw payment credentials, or passport scans.
Guest trip requests
A guest inquiry stores the name, email address, destination, travel preferences and message you submit so the club can respond. Only authorized administrators can view the private inquiry inbox. Submitting a request does not subscribe you to a marketing list. Avoid including passport numbers, payment information or other sensitive documents in a message.
Saved destination ideas
Destination shortlists use this browser’s local storage when available. They are separate from account trip records and can be cleared on the comparison page. Shared comparison links contain destination identifiers only. They do not contain your account information, email, travel dates or private booking details.
Sign-in and payments
Local day plans are saved in this browser only, using public place identifiers and their day order. They are not synchronized with your account or shared with booking providers. Downloaded text and calendar files stay on your device until you choose to share or import them. Google Maps receives only the public place you open, not your day plan.
An essential HTTP-only cookie keeps you signed in. Google sign-in is optional when connected. PayPal processes payments when connected; its privacy terms also apply. We do not add an advertising analytics tracker of our own.
Supplier connections
Once enabled, a travel search shares the necessary route, dates, and party size with connected suppliers. Booking requires the additional traveler details specified by that supplier and approval of the applicable quote and terms.
Partner booking links
Optional partner booking links include affiliate tracking codes. If you follow one, the provider or its affiliate network may use cookies under its own privacy policy to attribute a booking. These links do not automatically send your club profile, travelers or trip details.
Trip.com search widgets
The official Trip.com search boxes load from Trip.com and include our public affiliate identifiers. Trip.com receives your browser information and the travel details you enter in its widget and may use cookies under its privacy policy. Your AVR account, saved travelers and private trip records are not passed into these widgets. Search results, reservations and payment are handled by Trip.com; a partner reservation is separate from your AVR itinerary.
Destination maps
Destination hotel maps are supplied by Google. When a map loads, your browser connects to Google with the public hotel location; Google may receive your IP address, browser information and site origin and may use cookies under its own privacy policy. We do not include your account, travel dates, traveler count or booking details in map requests. Directions and guest-review links also open Google Maps.
Your information
You can update your profile and remove saved traveler entries from your account. Contact the club for access, deletion, or other questions about your records. Business retention periods and any jurisdiction-specific privacy requirements must be finalized before public launch.
